Sue Gotham BSc(Hons) MCSP
Health Professions Council Registered Physiotherapist
Member of Physio First
Member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists

Sue Gotham was born and educated during her formative years in Coventry, until deciding to embark on a career in physiotherapy. Four years at the Royal London Hospital resulted in a 2:1 BSc(Hons) degree with  Distinction in Clinical Practice, awarded in 1987.
Since then Sue has worked in the NHS, both in London and Birmingham, before working in industry at Sainsbury plc, Rank Xerox and The Welcome Foundation. During this time she gained a qualification with The American College of Sports Medicine and a Diploma in Occupational Health.
In 1991 she started full time in Private Practice in Guildford and has now established a clinic in Shere.
Sue has a very broad experience of treating musculo-skeletal problems, arising from many different sources. Her sporting background, particularly racket sports and more recently running and swimming, means she is well placed to deal with the many sports injuries that present. Her background in occupational health and over 20 years' experience in general outpatients well places her for the confident assessment and treatment of spinal problems so often seen in today's society.
She also has a family and understands the stresses and strains of everyday living, which often manifests itself in the form of musculo-skeletal pain.
She works in conjunction with GPs and Consultants to ensure full medical back up if necessary.
